Savusavu Swim Spot
Went out today to do a harbour cruise.
We left the Fuel dock, & went across the Savusavu Bay, to a secluded spot, where there is a lovely beach where one could have a swim & do some snorkeling, if they chose.
The yacht season has started, so our little port is starting to fill up with yachts from all over the world.
Savusavu is a Port Of Entry, so yachts call in here, to clear Immigration & Customs, before cruising around Fiji.
A few stay a couple of weeks, some longer, resting after their sail here, getting supplies, or to just relax before continuing on their cruise.

Savusavu Port
21st May.
There has been a lot of rain in Fiji over the last few weeks, some days the rain has been so heavy it has caused flooding on the main Island of Fiji.
We had a trip out to Namena the other day, to drop off a couple, onto the dive boat Agressor.
They had missed joining the boat at Nadi.
Here are photos I took on a earlier trip, showing entering the port of Savusavu.

Savusavu Flora
13th May
A few more photos of flowers, taken in my garden.
There was the strangest plant that I found, just after a couple of days of light rain, in the garden.
It looked like a toadstool with a beautiful lace outer (looked like a skirt).
If anyone knows what the plant is, I would be grateful to hear from you.
It died after a day in the sun.

Perfect Morning In Savusavu
4th May.
Well another month has passed, & we are now officially, out of the Cyclone season.
We were lucky to have been spared any real damage to our town, during this season.
Took Searov out, on the bay, a few days ago, to give the engines a run, & see that everything was in working order.
It was another perfect day on the water, beautiful clear skies, calm seas & lots of Dolphins.
Yes, we were fortunate enough to come across a school of Dolphins again, & this time I had the camera near by.
