Rainbow Over Savusavu Airport

20th June

Looking out from our deck this afternoon, I saw this rainbow stretching right across in front of me.

Is this a good omen?
Today a welcome & blessing, is happening for all the heavy machinery & workers, that will be involved on the upgrading work of Savusavu Airport.

This is to commence early next month, & so the airport will be closed to all planes coming into Savusavu, for 4 months.

For visitors, booked into Savusavu the Airlines will be making arrangements, to bring you into Savusavu.

At this stage, the rumor is, the planes will land in Labasa, & a bus will bring you into Savusavu. This is all to be finalised soon.

Here is another photo of the visit of Pacific Sun on Monday.
Passengers about to disembark at the Copra Shed Marina.
