We left Savusavu early this morning, for our dental appointment in Labasa.
Labasa is reached from Savusavu, by a road that takes you through the mountain range, & down to sea level, on the other side of the Island of Vanua Levu.
As we descended the mountain range, there was a heavy shroud of mist in the valleys, giving a eerie feeling, to the place.
Not something you would expect in the Tropics.
Labasa is a sugar town, with the only sugar mill on this Island, we passed trucks loaded with cane, on their way to the mill.
